Now you have compared a child to bacteria living on ones skin and a cow being butchered for food. Don't agree with you, but learning more about how you rationalize. "Nobody is denying that abortion involves killing the fetus, but focusing on the most graphic or emotional parts of the policy does not contribute to understanding" YES IT DOES. If you are explaining to someone that the fetus has no more value than the bacteria on your skin then it is EASY to say go ahead and abort. If you explain that it is a precious beginning of human life you will be more accurate, and might have the person think of it in a different light. You would rather minimilize the importance by comparing to a cow used for food or bacteria. I would rather say what it REALLY IS, and then have one make a decision. See the diff?
