got married this weekend. Some memorable wines were had.

Had some nice 1999 (will double check year) Ravenswood Zinfindel (Lodi vineyard).

Also had a very nice Gurwurtztraminer from Alsace. The specifics escape me but, I'll look into it.

Most notable, we had some Château Mouton Rothschild 1986 cabernet. Very nice! (but too expensive).
Also, some 1982 Penfolds Grange Hermitage was quite nice for the wine fat cats around here <ggg>

Finally, we had the most exquisite wine I've ever tasted. It was the 1976 Ch. d'Yquem. Wow! It's mind blowing. I almost never advocate spending the kind of bucks these big name wines command, but, get some. If your lucky, like me, your wife won't drink alcohol, so there will be more for you to savor <ggg>.
