a perfect example
I'm not so sure the pregnancy was not wanted, even though the child was not kept. The biological family received a modest amount of money in the event, modest for Americans, an interesting sum in the host country. Plus they were able to pass genes on to an area where survival and success prospects were perhaps greater than they would have found at home. This is not a balanced comparison to all other choices.
