Paul,

The "last version" of Intel's socket 370 i supported by the i815 EEA chip set and it works with both Coppermine and Tualatins.

Maybe you can explain to me how you can buy, for example in year 2000, the i815 EAA based motherboard from the future, so that in the future (2001), you can upgrade your processor. Perhaps time travel?

The same happened with the first Socket 370. There was no way to upgrade a system with original Socket 370 to Coppermine.

Joe

I happen to have one - so I know."

I gotta give you some credit. At least you didn't buy a first generation P4 w/SDRAM.

Paul, you are wrong. Since Tualatin is an EOL product on the desktop that makes socket 370 and EOL OBSOLETE product also.
