Bill, As one who has searched for the truth of eschatology for many years I do believe that I am a true "Seeker" rather than an accepter of men's doctrines. The New Testament is filled with the time frames and instancy of the prophetical word that Christ and the Apostles constantly talked about and assured their flock was near, even in the very generation that was then living. I'm sure that you want to have the truth concerning the fulfillment of the prophesies contained in Christ's Olivet Discourse. Matt. 10:23, Matt. 16:28. It is now universally acknowledge that the entire New Testament was written before 70AD, the destruction of the Herodian Temple, and the end of the Age of the Jewish teachings and Old Testament law. If anyone is sincere about the truth of the prophetical end of the age and the beginning of Christ's Kingdom at that time then you must search diligently as I have. This is so critically important that it requires that you use a New King James Version as their are discrepancies in the King James as to word definition when translating into English from the original Hewbrew and Greek. Get the book called "The Parousia by J. Stuart Russell and also "The Last Days According To Jesus" by R.C. Sproul. Have at least a reference on the web to the writings of Josephus, the Jewish historian. Christ said that we must worship Him in spirit and truth. The Kingdom of Heaven is within us and we must not literalize all of the Bible. If you were raised as I was, in a Church that constantly preached the rapture and the near coming of Christ for His church and the separate teaching that Christ has a separate view different from the Church that the Jews are going to rebuild the temple in the future and Christ is going to live in a building in Jerusalem than you will have to be openminded enough to overcome those teachings and search for the correct eschatology of the Holy Word. It late but I want to put you on the right track and ask you to study this out without any preconceived notions that you have been taught about religion and Christ teachings that may keep you from wanting to find the truth.
