I was looking at some pictures this morning of the recent longer term treasury debt action. If these speculators can continue to pile on things could get interesting. Maybe some of the boys and girls in the palladium and NG pits could show them how. <ggg>

Should the bond vigilantes succeed- it could help foster deflation. As I understand it, a secular period punctuated by multiple recessions creates a prime environ for deflation. And as long as it remains mild and the coupon payments continue- this might not be a poor outcome from a bond holder viewpoint.
