Constantine, I was mostly talking about PC games that get ported to consoles, or vice-versa. The same game on both platforms allows you to use the extra resolution and frame rate of your expensive PC 3d accelerator. On the other hand, programming exclusively for a console allows developers to exploit a lot of the latent capabilities of the graphics and CPU subsystem, while the multi-configurable nature of the PC doesn't allow you to do this. Therefore, you will find console exclusive titles to be very good looking in terms of graphics, at least for the next year or so. wbmw
