Michael,

I am aware that at least one of the miners locked in the exchange rate of the Rand, but have not seen anyone selling forward. I read some where, but did not keep the URL that even AU is covering some of their sales forward.

I know comparing this gold sector with the insane stock market just does not work. <ggg> Heck when I was accumulating some SA gold stocks, we were paying $10 per oz for the gold in the ground. Nuts!!!!
