Hasn't our moral compass moved a little bit since then? I'll say. After spending 20 billion on an anti-terrorist bill, I feel my country is not one whit safer from terrorist attacks and airline security remains a lovely theory that may someday actually exist, but for now, it's relegated to the pages of unbelievable sci-fi stories.
