puzzlecraft: As a weather buff, I'd love to have real time access to scads of detailed satellite imagery, weather cams, surf cams, buoy data, ocean conditions etc. on a portable device while out in the field; as well as TV clips of breaking events if I want them, xmit and receive video from friends, lot of other stuff. And you want this stuff while you are walking down the street? Or do you want to connect your laptop to data services while sitting at Cardiff State Beach? In one case you are portable/mobile.. In the other case you are fixed/mobile. Like I said.. Voice is portable. High Speed Data is not.. Voice is the killer application. PCSTEL
