Michael, Though this incident occurred about 3 weeks ago, I thought I would go ahead and post this message relayed to me via pm about another thread participant who was banned at the moderators whim... Derek has given me permission to post his pm...Quite frankly I had left the thread after seeing this form of conduct and had decided it wasn't even worth my time or energy to respond to it.... however, it's one hour until "showtime" <vbg> Since Derek was banned after posting his message to me about the Gore response to the CIA report detailing the alleged Chernomrydin's theft of IMF funds, I am posting his pm response with his permission. I had asked him for a source to the Gore "bullshit" scrawl and he has been prohibited from publicly responding. Obviously the moderator of this thread wishes to restrict his ability to substantiate what he reported. Why would the moderator do such a thing? The discussion of Russian The discussion of Russian corruption WRT IMF funding certainly falls with the purview of Foreign Affairs "Discussion". I would like to hear from other posters regarding whether they agree with you or not. MDC, i agree with FL. Faultline invented this game. he wrote the rules. he brought the ball. he found the field. he has allowed everyone much latitude initially as they learn to play. he is also the referee. some calls are judgemental but will normally not be changed. instant replays do not matter because he is the only coach. joining a team at half time and deciding after you begin playing that you don't like the rules is (insert your own adjective). this is a moderated thread....that means this game has rules. you do not have to agree with the rules, you just have to live with them. those who whine and bicker about the rules or who cannot comprehend the leader's coaching messages, are also free to find another game or start their own. to be a team player, you must learn and comprehend the coach's playbook and his rules of thumb. those who don't become the weakest links. diminishing the game for others. your inability to get along with FL is your problem why ask everyone else to clutter up the field by discussing your problems? handle it yourself. i certainly hope you don't really expect all the other players to leave the coach and the game because you do not get along. uw
