NO religion, save Christianity, has had a Son of God who was crucified and raised from the dead, ascended into Heaven at the right side of God and rules in their heart and mind today.

Actually Santiago , there are religions that have that very thing , and did long before Christianity . And they are still as vitally alive today and undergoing their own rennaisances , evolution & distillations into the 21rst century and beyond .

Just as Christianity has learned to grow up.

There was nothing trite or banal about the statement that Jesus was just a "man" and a teacher . It is not my thought alone but a thought that has come into being in some of the greatest minds the world has yet seen . From our greatest artist, statesmen, philosophers, and scientists.

I also disdain the teachings of where Islam originated and certainly to not attribute a tentmaker in the 16 century as being one who was given Holy law by God.

Mohammed only being a lowly tentmaker and couldn't possibly have recieved some revelation from God , I might point out to you that Jesus was a just a carpenter and
lived 600yrs earlier or so.

But I'll let you ponder that in your own time .

I do not ascribe to the philosophy that all men are brothers under all religions and that there is any value to them....False gods and teachings for the love of all mankind may make you a popular guy with the masses, but it won't buy you a ticket into Heaven.

I can see where one can run into great difficulty trying
to follow consistently the teachings of Christianity , and
the teachings of Jesus then .

For didn't he teach that very core fundamental belief ?
Though it didn't make him a very " popular guy"
with the masses then though .

Ain't no mountain high enough, Mars!

Ok Santiago , let's rejoice for now in the name of all those great teachers , that sought so ardently to lift the hearts and minds of men to greater horizons , and tried to teach them a better way of approaching their lives on earth.

One does not look lightly upon any man giving up his life for the truth that he believes in , lived so passionately for and taught so ardently , for that I would definitely give Jesus an A+ ....I think it safe enough to say he was
one of the good guys , if not perhaps just
a little "mad" at times .

But he was also just being "human" .
