Hey, Mar$. Glad not all the interesting people have vanished off SI.

I think as long as these things are metaphors for the creation, then that is fine. As Cosmic as I am, I'm not trying to get my philosophy inserted into the public schools as metaphysical fact (that seems to be an oxymoron).

The secular side of our world should dominate secular affairs. Since there is this broad pallet of wildly different stories of creation, these should remain in those domains dominated by the ecclesiastic - like churches.

If people want to go to church and tithe 10% of their salary to hear one fantastic story in preference to another, far be it from me to interfere. You know what they say about a fool and his money being soon parted.
