i guess you haven't followed the MSCI PE spread between equities in Europe and the US, and are unaware of what it is now and how that spread compares to the past. let me just add that it is now at an all time record, for as far as the data go back (to 1972). a chart of this spread is an amazing thing to behold. even more amazing when one considers the quality of earnings vector of European companies relative to their US counterparts. even more amazing yet again when one considers the outlook for the dollar vs. the euro going forward.
