The Athlon XP 1700+ showcases Xtreme Performance and provides an outstanding working environment for the new Microsoft XP software...The combination of Athlon XP 1700+ and Windows XP offers unparalleled digital camera, scanner, movies etc performance at an affordable price (and not only less expensive than its competitor's offering but is upgradeable)...I suspect that the commbination of the Xtreme Performance of the Athlon XP 1700+ combined with Windows XP represents enough new economic utility to create the "need" for the consumer to switch out of the 600 to 700 Mhz range...
