Yeah, I realize Opera is just as vulnerable in theory. My strategy is based on something I read that hacking programs tend to target Microsoft products since they are the most widely used.

I also went through ZA and removed permissions for most programs and changed them to ask first. I'll take a look at the sircam mechanism to get a better handle on this.

What do you think of adding a router purely as an additional buffer against hack attacks? Most of what I am reading including post by Nick Morvay indicate that routers are more vulnerable than other firewalls.
