I'm planning an A frame type "vacation" home in the Laurel Highlands....

I actually think we will be out of this home by summer and will be moving into a smaller place on the land that I intend to build on.....

So far the choice of flooring for the living, dinning and bedrooms is cork.

Non skid ceramic tile for the kitchen and all baths.

I bought all of the unfinished hardwood flooring for this house at either material auctions or special sales at home stores. Never paid over 2$ a square foot in bulk. Putting it down does not take a genius. Sanding takes an experienced hand and sealing it was as simple as mopping and being sure you leave no bubbles behind.
