When I say "like" and "dislike" that doesn't always translate directly to "going up" and "going down" respectively. Obviously there are circumstances (the bubble, 9/11) where the market is going to move in a given direction regardless of the Fed's policy at the moment.

But the idea that higher interest rates could be more bullish than lower interest rates, all other things being equal, never made much sense to me.
