Joe - You wrote I'm only questioning Niceguys "predictive" powers. After all, he has predicted 50 of the last 5 moves up. :-)

After 18 months, niceguy767 has finally had one short term success in his predictions. But during that time, he has been wrong literally hundreds of times. I don't recall Mani congratulating him on those hundreds of wrong calls - do you?
Monica

Joseph:

So would you care to exchange your views on AMD's probable performance? I respect that you haven't done so, so far... You'll certainly never be accused of being wrong, anyway!!!

Re <<So I can pick any volatile stock, predict incessantly that it will go up, and every time it goes up, I have "called" it.>>

Yep. Try doing it in a hostile environment, continuously bombarded by nasty juvenile comments from close minded Intel only freaks, and be civil about it.

Niceguy was the ONLY person that I can think off who predicted the kind of the bullish move AMD had last year. He was very wrong in the down move, but he did get out for a part of the down turn.

I congratulated him because we were taking opposite positions and we discussed that at the time. He turned out to be right and me wrong. So I called it.
