Welcome to the dark side, if you are considering physical metal :0) However, consider moving slowly, buy without the thought of ever selling, accumulate without capsizing allocation, hold without revaluing, aiming only to use the hoard as a Big Financial Reset Button, and think in terms of generation skipping wealth free, to the max extent possible, from governmental control.

Else the exercise may prove a frustrating experience, especially to our generation of web pages surfing and icon clicking non-saving speculators.

If, as a speculator/investor, you are considering stocks and options, then focus on a few quality companies, study them well, explore the issues surrounding the market, experimentally trade a few, virtually first, then for real, and start small to gain experience. Just like learning to operate a hotel.
