It looks like this week will reveal some bad news for shorts. I hope everyone is long. :-)

* Bin Laden's capture or death appears imminent.

The market will rally like crazy when this happens, because most people are under the delusion (because of the mediots) that he is the only bad man on Earth, and if he dies, all will be well forever more.

* Argentina has been sweet talking the IMF all weekend into giving them more free money and averting their pending default crisis for now.

The IMF hasn't agreed yet, but they appear ready to if Argentina trims their budget. They are trying to do so now.

* Greenspam and his FOMC buds will cut rates again, and CNBS will broadcast the move as the rallying cry for the ages.
