HP is liable to focus on the printer business just as the "paperless society" finally takes off. The "paperless society" is hardly closer than it was 15 years ago. My customers are printing more today than there were 5 years ago. The printer business is going to continue to be huge for another 15-20 years. As color lasers come down in price and resolutions get better, you enter an entirely new replacement cycle with more expensive consumables. If HWP can get shed of this foolish CPQ boondogle they have a great future for the next 15-20 years.
