Ya also gotta consider the drag on the economy that health insurance benefits have become (we've duplicated the infamously in-efficient V.A. system in corporate America) And then there's this mounting wind-in-the-face feeling that all the State and Local governments are experiencing as a result of rising un-employment benefits and shrinking tax revenue, deflating real estate property tax base :-/ > MG, I suppose I continue to be an optimist at heart... ...of course (^_^) there's still patterns: waves of sentiment to surf, intermediate-term trends to sail: We've got an emerging "NewTech" (BioTech) that looks like Intel, Cisco "OldTech" did in the early eighties; housing & construction look different, what with all us Boomers retiring but, it's still a business; and then, there's always health care services 'n DRUGZ !!! => I just don't see any o' dat capital investment happenin' 'round these here SillyValley parts, dat's fo' sho :-( -Steve
