I think you have to use the watercooled bandsaw. Home Depot quit renting them out because people kept breaking them, so now you have to bring the slate to the store and they charge $1 a cut.

We talked about it last night and decided to go with slate. We need about 30 more sq. feet, and it's less than $2 a sq. ft., so the price is right, and it looks nice and lasts forever. Maybe can rent a watercooled cutter from someone other than Home Depot, otherwise draw the cuts and then bring the tiles to the store.
