Hi carep, I sense that Fundies are holding the bag, waiting for Binnie to get resolved. If Binnie does get caught, I think we'll spike, then sell the news. And, if he slips away, I think we'll sell. So either way, I think we're going down. I already bopped the dip buyers today, shorted the QQQ and covered. Later this week, you'll likely hear a sucking sound, that will be from negative liquidity, after they unleash 4.5 billion in IPO's, hee hee.
All in my opinion.
And, retail sales are coming out this week, their expected to be down. PPI and CPI is coming too.

The widely held view in my part of the woods seems to agree with you, Carp....a pullback, especially while the world waits for Greenie's decision about interest rates.....buying dips is still the "in" thing to do, because there is more upside to the market, from what I hear people saying.

However, so far I can't find any dips big enough to encourage me to buy.
