Based on the activity today, I'd say CPQ/HWP will get the institutional support they need to make this go through. Although the institutions were the ones who opposed this at the start, I think they are on board now that this has gone so far down the road.

Not to mention that the HWP foundation didn't exactly make the most compelling of cases against the merger. It appears, based on the way the press is beginning to spin this, that the Foundation acted in a spiteful manner and didn't have the best interests of the shareholders in mind.

That, of course, could be a result of the spinmeisters at CPQ and HWP doing their job so well...
