Robert, I read the report as follows. "SanDisk seems to be turning the corner." I am not sure I would read much else into it. Perhaps this recommendation explains the recent price movement in the stock given that Merrill Lynch clients presumably got this in their e-mails a week or two ago. I still think there is too much uncertainty about consumer spending and too much volatility in retail pricing of flash products (read "oversupply") to draw any longer term conclusions, but it is nice to know that someone is willing to go out on a limb at this juncture.
