I know nobody who wants to promote abortions. I can imaging a few medical equipment providers or something. If there are reasonable alternatives to abortion or abortion as we know it, there will be movement toward those alternatives. The key issue is to allow the freedom to choose whether and when to have children, the actual mechanism which provides that freedom is not the point.
