Westi: I will be happy to pray for your paternal grandmother . The loneliness that she feels is a hole for a non believer that no matter how full it gets always seems to diminish with each passing day. But the same emptiness for a believer is a hole that no matter how empty it gets always seems to be fuller with each passing day. I will pray that her loneliness will be remedied in Christ. As the non believer is blinded to the love of the Lord by bitterness or dissapointment or sickness, or depression, or alcohol or drugs or sex or pleasurers of this world ; we ourselves are not blinded to their estrangement from God . So the earnest prayers of God's children are met with a chorus of mercy and grace and an acceptance of His eternity and His purposes and His holiness.

Pure and simple ; God answers prayer and earnest prayers He answers more earnestly.

I was working out this morning at the gym and Mike comes up tome and says Greg, How's your back. I had hurt it at work about there weeks ago and it was not getting better. Mike had been in a wreck, he's a trooper , about 9 months ago and has a time with his back. Mike's relationship with the Lord is sadly lacking with little expression of faith. Without thinking I answered; well, two of my Christian brothers from church prayed for me and laid hands on me two Fridays ago and 5 days after they prayed for me my back was healed . He hung his head ; and said OH ! and walked off holding his own back, which was still in severe pain.

I was thinking, even if I was a just a gambling man I would have grabbed 'me' by the arm and said; lets go right now and find those two guys that prayed for you , and see if they will pray for me. but did not even Jesus constantly ask, what is it that I can do for you ? He passed up whole villages for lack of faith ! Neither did I offer to pray for Mike. His faith was not strong enough !But one day I'm hoping and praying it shall be.In Him...gregor

Westi,

Just a little update and more evidence that God keeps his promises. We have not sold our house, it is a weird deal and I have not gotten a job yet (2 months today). We have not missed a payment or a meal yet. Money popped up in my wife's account to help out and everything is working out somehow, someway. God is in control and keeping his promises to us.

Sam

Sam:

God is so great! He will provide!

I just read my brother and sister's in law's letter about the last year, but I am so encouraged by their faith. God allows us to go through the fire, to trust Him, but also to be able to tell to others how He goes through it with us!!
