"What was the answer?"

I don't remember the numbers exactly, but it was in the 500+ range (under 600) being detained on immigration violations and 100+ (around 125 I think) being held on criminal violations.

"Wrong (as I pointed out before). Arrests are public information in the US. No 'privacy' right."

You are correct technically, but there is also no law that says they have to make up specific lists of groups of people. I believe all the detainees are being treated within the civil liberties of our constitution. Would need evidence that they are not (and not providing a list to the ACLU is not evidence)

"Go down to your local courthouse and look the arrests up"

This is what the ACLU and the 15 other "civil liberties" groups should do. Instead they imply that these people are being mistreated without any evidence. That is their style, and I think it sucks and that it gives comfort to the enemy.
