It's strangely quiet on that front. I suspect the authorities are waiting to see how many come back. There is plenty of evidence that the authorities watched the Afghanistan situation closely...

My guess would be the SAS were on the ground in a few days after 9/11, even if they weren't their in the first place.

It wasn't such a long time ago that Treason in this country was a "Hanging, Drawing, and Quartering" offense. Death by hanging was getting off lightly. Guy Fawkes and his conspirators found out to their detriment...

If a British Taliban truely changes his tune, wants to live in peace and not force me to change to Islam, I say he's learned his lesson, let 'um go free. Otherwise, they face the full force of the law.
