I will never again use a broker that does not allow trades to be downloaded in quicken. It is so nice...I can update as soon as the confirms are posted which is usually around midnight the day of the trade. One thing nice about quicken is you can take the default, FIFO, or you can point to the shares you sold if you want to do it that way. It sure is nice to click a button and see a report on any variance of your data such as individual stocks or complete monthly and yearly capital gains reports. If you can think of a way you want a breakdown it will let you do it. It's smooth! I bought the Quicken 2002 Home and Business edition and it does everything a trader needs. It does not come with turbo tax but you already have that I see. The deluxe version has the turbo tax with it.
