A little girl is talking about whales in her schoolroom. The teacher informs her that a human being could not be swallowed whole by a whale. The little girl responds that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. The teacher insists that a whale could not swallow a human being whole. She explains that while a whale is a very large animal, its throat is very narrow. The little girl insists that Jonah was indeed swallowed by a whale, and when the teacher again denies it, the little girl says, "when I get to heaven I will ask him." The teacher responds, "what if he went to hell?" And the little girl says, "then you ask him."
