Finally after hiding for 50 years in the shadows of corporate America the SEC has issued a formal warning to corporations that they could face civil-fraud lawsuits for touting potentially misleading pro-forma financial metrics in their earnings news releases if they don't also explain how they were calculated. After years of complaints the SEC has finally been forced to act in behalf of shareholders. Makes ya wonder what sorta warnings season we will have in the next few weeks. Hmmmmmmmmmm! dealie
