But he told me most of the new clients were investors who were already invested and leaving the major brokerage firms because of "performance" issues. Anecdotal evidence to be sure, but the way I interpret that info is there is still a fair amount of complacency about the economy in general. Investors blaming the managers for their declining net worth instead of looking at the overall economic status.
