Well, you DO resurrect after death, (but not immediately, generally)and as far as sending back messages is concerned, just check out the "channeling and psychic" communities and you will find that there are LOTS of messages (daily including holidays). Also, before you (in your fast wit) dismiss that stuff as terminal BS, check out the Duke University ESP studies and any number of other sober studies that can attest to the fact, at least, that there is a great deal that is UNEXPLAINED (in conventional terms). So there ARE messages, but they just don't have a return address, and to RECEIVE the messages requires a certain sensitivity which EVERYONE latently has, but only a few actualize. If you, Cosmic, developed some of that potential in you, your humor would take a different slant! And yes, there is a lot of nonsense that goes on in humans. In fact, it could be said that it is ALL nonsense, but some people think they have a better take on it than others, which makes them feel better (at least temporarily, enroute to death). And, of course, that includes me, also! The news networks are in the business of selling "sound and video bites" that will capture the attention of their listeners/viewers, so long as they contribute to the ongoing dependence of the viewer on the news medium. However, the networks have corporate ownership who contribute to the politicial leadership's campaigns, and who are also dependent on the networks for their link to the public. So, in the end analysis, if it serves the INTERESTS of the networks and government, we will see it on the tube, hear it on the radio and read it in the newspapers (packaged, homogenized and completely self-serving, in its final form). I would ask the counter-question: "If Osama bin Laden is executed, and then is heard from after death (or maybe even seen also)would we: -- see that covered on US network TV? -- see that covered on Islamic TV? -- (if visually seen) view him as another Jesus character? -- see him as the proven Anti-Christ? -- admire his tenacity? I would say absolutely NOT to the first, and probably YES to the rest (amongst varying audiences). I would ask the folks on this thread this question: Does ANYBODY actually KNOW what is going on in this world, or are there just individual pictures and opinions (occuring in each person) that seem plausible enough, and therefore are accepted as REALITY, when really they are closer to our own private news network? Namaste! Jim
