nspolar -- FA type books -- there's the old classic from Ben Graham ... or you might want to check out a couple of Forbes Magazine's columnist. The first one that comes to mind is Ken Fisher, he wrote a book way back when ... called "Superstocks," it's one of my favs ... the other guy is David Dreman, "The Contrarian" -- he wrote a book called "Contrarian Investment Strategies: The Next Generation."

Both guys are strongly into FA, both books are excellent.

Best,
Frank P.

nspolar. Have a few. But 1st, per my earlier post

Will defer to Frank, as one of the best fundamentally oriented players on the thread. In fact, I'm hoping he'll hold forth on his own (as well) vis a vis some of the fundamental screens he uses in his own stock selection.

Once he's covered what he considers important, maybe I can add a coupla of peripherial and/or off-beat selections. Iso be notorious at used book store and local library blow-out sales for finding the occasional out of print but interesting financial book.<G>
