Additionally, they do not say how much of their fab resources are devoted towards x86 microprocessor production. Calculating Z when both X and Y are vague guesses is a bad idea. ;)

Good call, exactly why I didn't like Dan's numbers on the Intel thread. He put out some numbers which it seems came out of nowhere- of course, it was really funny when one member of the Intel thread used his same numbers to calculate that AMD had 27% yields :)
