clap...I believe there was a Lieutenant Calley who was found guilty of similar crimes some years back. Actually it was during the Vietnam conflict. While I don't wish to place my country's standard of morale culpability, I do think due process would be proper.

What it boils down to, is something that you or I will probably never find out. As they used to say in the military, "It depends upon the situation". JMO

Perhaps some should be held responsible if what they did was to intentionally inflict harm. However, I think that there might be some leniency if this was done in response to the prison uprising...... I.E., to keep the prisoners from being able to revolt while being transported.

War is hell........... but there should be no excuse for intentionally inflicting harm or outright murder.
