Iso

Lance Lewis opined on this last night:

"Tomorrow, we get our rate cut (25 bps seems to be what everyone is looking for,) and we’ll see what sort of statement comes along with it. Will this be our last hit of crack, forcing us to quit cold turkey? Or will Uncle Al promise more cuts next year “if needed?” Who knows? But there would probably be a fair amount of disappointment in stocks if an end to the cuts is signaled, and that might actually put a little support under the bonds. Whatever the Fed does, we may be setting up to see the Fed’s action get sold."

Hi Iso: Bot some US TREAS BD # 912810EW4 at 101 26/32 at 2:43 PM. May the bond traders rule for a while? Is it considered taboo to hold golds and long bonds? Still got GG KGC and BAY as major holdings.
