Fred- Im going to have to spend some time playing catchup here before throwing in my two cents.. It really wasnt right for me to come on board and start attempting to be active in a conversation where I really havnt followed since the thread started..

Its like peeling an onion.. layer after layer.. its extremely difficult to get past the propaganda/agendas, and this makes it very frustrating trying to understand why this is all happening.. IM just trying to be fair about it and one thing I do feel with a degree of certaintity is that the mainstream press is very slanted.. and that sets off some red flags.. Sharon has quite a colorful past, and I really would rather keep distance between his way of handling matters and our kinder/more gentler machine gun hand.

One thing I honestly believe with all my heart is that this is far from over, and its a blessing that there hasnt been more attacks here in America.. and believe me, tears do burn in my eyes when I see innocent people in a mall or a bus being killed by suicide bombers.. I just feel I have an obligation to understand what motivates such passion and try to get past the emotion that makes me want to strike back.

Just for the record- IM 100% behind how the Bush admin. is handling this situation, and wouldnt have done a thing differently up to this point.. There really wasnt much choice..
