The entire time from 9/11 till the recovery back to levels on that date should be treated as any disaster is treated on Wall Street. It is always a deep V drop and quick recovery in the market. Ignore everything below the 9/11 level and you will gain a clearer view of the market and where it should go.
Writers like that are really scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to write something.
I think it might be interesting to discuss this in light of the fact that the Feds. have increased liquidity and cut interest rates much more drastically because of the disaster. This definitely has an effect.
