i am beginning the process of reading every name on the list, of pausing to reflect a moment on each name, to look at the photo, to note the person's age, to think of their nationality, the loved ones they left behind, what their futures may have been... this is going to take awhile. it is devastating to read through the list in this manner. these people must be etched into our collective consciences for all time.
