gao, this recession is very important to correct, I have been stating the bad news since summer of 2000. The admin new we were going straight down hill when they came in. Instead of addressing the problem, they spent the first seven months sabre rattling and pushing bogus tax cuts. After 9/11 they went into attack mode, only now are they addressing the economy, unfortunately all the actions help all the folks who don't need it, and way too late. as for the Treasury Secretary he is a dufus and Bush will can him soon.
