Yup- that is the one! It does seem like a long time ago. I lot of dreams of world domination by Kopin have gone by in the mean time. Thankfully the HBT vision came along while these consumer products didn't get too far. Sure wished the PocketPro was around though for this Christmas - it had to be cheaper than $2400 but you I guess it didn't work that well. Thanks for spotting the old news and pointing out the dead end with certainty.

I've got to hand it to you, Will, saving those old reports. I finally ran out of space and pitched the lot.

IMO, the market for the Smart Slide (were it viable) would be road warriors. Since they have to carry around their laptop and briefcase, a projector on top of that would be hard to handle. This is assuming that every company has a slide projector (we have one <g>).

For the home market, I agree that the integrated projector is the way to go. A slide projector is only $200-$400 so it's not like a small option to an expensive piece of equipment.

I like those InFocus projectors.

Maybe I'll get one instead of a HDTV rear projector...
