Sorry, the post you are referring to is about the stimulus plan and the main sticking point between Daschle and Bush. Although it is an excellent question. Anti Missile Defense, which is the next step after withdrawing from the ATM treaty, will be a must have for every nation. This is not pork barrel. North Korea is preparing for war. And they supposedly have missiles capable of doing damage to many countries. My only fear is that they start a war and we do not have these defenses ready. And then, of course, rich4eagle will say that he was saying we should have gotten AMD years ago. But Bush wouldn't listen.
