Right, Roadrunner eats up a lot of memory and it's always on... so 384 MB should do the trick, besides these memory modules are cheap these days... a 128 MB memory module runs for $21.95, it's unbelievable.....

What you described with screen freezing and locking up the computer is very similiar to problem that i have - with Netscape 4.7, which is my primary browser.

I run Netscape 4.76 as my primary browser. I have 768M of ram on a P2-350, with the necessary tweaks to let Windows 98 run with all that, and there are still some sites that lock up Netscape. It is not a memory problem. As far as I can tell it is some Java incompatibility.
