High end notebook chipset for Athlon 4

The ProSavage DDR KN266 mobile chipset supports both mobile Athlons and Durons, and Via claims gives a performance boost of a third in running applications.

The chipset uses S3 graphics technology using ProSavage 8 features that deliver AGP8X equivalence, claimed Via.

The chipset is an improvement on Via's KN133. According to Ted Lee, Via's VP of sales, the chipset gives desktop performance in notebooks and also improves battery life.
