The ACLU saw fit to defend the right of Nazis to march in Skokie, Illinois, over 20 years ago, even though it had a high concentration of Holocaust survivors. That didn't mean that they were pro- Nazi, or that they had a corrupt relationship with the Nazis. What is meant was that they were purist about First Amendment issues, certainly more than I would be. Similarly, Ashcroft may be being too purist about Second Amendment issues, but that does not mean that he is corrupt........

Don't you believe that Ashcroft has proven himself to be an honorable man, after watching him run for congress, I mean come on, he as much as gave away the election out of respect for his opponent.
