Shrewsbury Electric Light Plant and Community Cablevision Signs ASP Contract with Docucorp; SELPSCC to Outsource Bill Production, Distribution and EBPP
DALLAS, Mar 19, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Docucorp(R) International (Nasdaq:DOCC), a leading provider of enterprise information solutions, today announced an application service provider (ASP) contract with Shrewsbury Electric Light Plant and Community Cablevision (SELPSCC) to provide outsourced print and online bill production and distribution for the utility's customers.
SELPSCC will employ Docucorp's ASP services in three phases, utilizing Docucorp's bill production and hosted archive capabilities to combine its cable and long distance billing in the first phase. In the second phase, SELPSCC, in conjunction with their new utility CIS, will use Docucorp to produce their electric billing.
Upon completion of the first two phases, SELPSCC will utilize Docucorp to combine all services offered onto one bill and use the Docucorp electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) solution to enable its customers to receive and pay bills via the Internet.
